Parking Automation System
|
Self-pay parking systems represent an efficient solution to manage increased urban traffic, but they cannot be operated
without a proper IT system. For a prompt execution of management decisions and real-time failure prevention, the parking
system is in permanent contact with the parking machines, providing up-to-date financial and service data.
The self-pay parking machines communicate with the central system via built - in GSM cards (input data is being sent
once a day, while service errors in the moment the failure occurs).
Financial Information Module
Relying on former statistical information, the system periodically collects the cash from the parking machines
by pre-generating so called discharging lists. On request, the discharging lists, as well as other system reports,
can be generated on different levels (city, area, district, zone) and in different formats (Word, Excel, XML, etc.).
Maintenance Module
The system makes the decisions according to the received service - status information and alerts the dispatchers
if necessary. The dispatchers instruct the skilled workforce to fix the error, and, at the end of the day, register
the details of the intervention. The system provides accurate information about the time passed between
the error report and the intervention, and respectively the intervention and the actual remedy of the problem. This
way, relying on the register, users can approximate the losses caused by the system failure. Another facility
of the program is the programming of repetitive maintenance activities.
Stock module
The system registers spare parts in a hierarchical order; when registering the remedy of the problem users can
also register the change of different components, providing operators up-to-date information about the components
in use and their actual status (the last battery recharge, paper consume level, last change of the money reading
device, etc.).
